We've been introduced in our Calligraphy Guild to Journals as a way of practice. Adding pens and ink and watercolor, maybe colored pencil, to the more formal calligraphy hands in a book and journal motif. It's been, what, 43 years since I've done sketching. So. I've fallen in with the Urban Sketcher's movement and the local Sketchcrawl crew here in Rochester, NY. Wish me luck. Stick the right foot out and ease on down the road.
